The NARA coat stand is designed to express the natural beauty and richness of solid timber, while also containing an ecological element.
During the manufacture of other furniture large amounts of waste are produced. Many small but good quality pieces of timber are often discarded. This design takes those usually wasted pieces and uses them in a maximised way, creating a beautiful and elegant coat stand with minimal material wastage.
Aesthetically the ‘NARA’ coat stand resembles a tree like structure, where each branch provides a place to hang an item of clothing.
