Kristiansen is in his 80s and still travels to Japan to ensure the iconic #42
chair is still produced to the same standards as it was in Denmark more than 40
years ago. Due to precise engineering and great design this chair gives
the benefit of an arm whilst maintaining a sense of lightness. While used
predominantly as a dining chair, it is also a comfortable and beautiful desk
chair.

These chairs can also be re-upholstered in your choice of fabric or leather.
In fabric .75 metres is required and in leather 1.2 square metres.
