"Its a matter of opening yourself to things, rather than struggling for form and style."
Jorn Utzon was a
Danisharchitect most notable for designing the
Sydney Opera House in Australia. When the Sydney Opera House was declared a
World Heritage Site on 28 June 2007, he became the first person to have their work recognised as a World Heritage Site while they were still alive.
Creating things for people - this is the primal theme of arguably Denmark's most famous architect of all time. Jorn Utzon was educated at the Danish Royal Academy of Fine Arts, concluding in 1942, and then developed his talent further at studios such as the Alvar Aalto studio in Helsinki. This inspiration helped Utzon gradually optimize his talent for creating architectural, organic spaces while maintaining respect for people, nature and surroundings.
